[ad_1]

The last few years have shown us again and again that life is extremely precious and we need to make the most of every moment. In this video, I, Chris Kassar (Senior Editor of EO) and my husband, Ryan Kempfer take you skiing on a training mission near Salida, Colorado. Watch and learn why we are finally putting aside fear and tackling a longtime dream: the 40-mile Grand Traverse Ski Race/Adventure from Crested Butte to Aspen, CO. We love backcountry touring, but we’ve never done anything on skimo gear before. Needless to say our learning curve is huge: all new gear and a light and fast (well… a little bit faster, but still not fast) style of skiing.

We’ve got a ton to figure out in the next two months, but we know it will all be worth it. Plus, we’re skiing for a greater purpose and have something bigger driving us that we know will keep us going when things get tough.

Learn more about the force behind our crazy adventure here: https://cancerleague.app.neoncrm.com/OurAngelwithanE

Stay tuned to this page for more training and fundraising updates, our favorite gear, and most likely a few mishaps as we get ready for our biggest adventure yet.
