Congressional Democrats To Block Congress from oversight of domestic military operations!

An amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act is being pushed by Rep. Adam B. Schiff, chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, that would block congress from oversight of the military and National Guard in cases of domestic deployment.

Yep, you heard that right, democrats in congress are trying to block congress from knowing about military operations on U.S. Soil! Schiff’s amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act would prohibit any evidence collected violating the Posse Comitatus Act from being used in investigations. Why?

The exemption from congressional oversight would give a free pass for the Pentagon that could impact a range of oversight from border security to the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

“This un-American amendment will fundamentally and irreparably erode Congress’ constitutional oversight responsibility,” Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, a member of the Armed Services Committee and chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, told The Washington Times. “House Democrats led by Adam Schiff are attempting to cover up for the national security crises of the weakest commander in chief in U.S. history.”
