US Air Pressure B-52 bombers return to Fairchild


The U.S. Air Pressure has introduced that its B-52 Stratofortress returned to Fairchild Air Pressure Base after 10+ years.

Based on a press launch from the 92d Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs, 4 B-52H Stratofortresses from Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, will land at Fairchild AFB, August 16-19 to take part in an Agile Fight Employment (ACE) train.

This would be the first time a B-52H has carried out operations at Fairchild since its runways have been refurbished 12 years in the past.

In 1957 Fairchild AFB was host to about 45 B-52s, which remained at Fairchild till 1993/1994 when the bottom was formally redesignated because the 92nd Air Refueling Wing, the biggest tanker wing within the Air Pressure, able to sustaining an air bridge the world over in assist of US and allied forces.

ACE workout routines are used to check and enhance U.S. Air Pressure airpower survivability and to spice up functionality and resilience in contested environments.
